National Program Accreditation Team Visits the College of Law at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa

The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, received the National Program Accreditation Team during their visit to the College of Law as part of the academic accreditation procedures for the Law Program under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The team included representatives from the Program Accreditation Council at the Ministry, in addition to members of the Central Committee for Program Accreditation in the College and the Quality Assurance Team at the University Presidency. During the three-day visit, the delegation reviewed the academic environment, infrastructure, and curricula, and held meetings with faculty members, students, representatives of the Bar Association, and legal institutions. This visit comes within the University’s commitment to enhancing academic quality standards and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through the development of high-quality academic programs, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by supporting legal education grounded in justice, integrity, and the establishment of strong educational institutions that serve society. Upon the completion of the visit, a meeting was held in the presence of the University President, the Dean of the College of Law, and the accreditation team, during which the visit’s findings and committee observations were reviewed. Professor Dr. Al-Hayyawi expressed his appreciation to the visiting team for their efforts, reaffirming the University’s commitment to fostering a culture of academic excellence and ensuring quality in accordance with national and international accreditation standards.

University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Explores Avenues of Cooperation with the Karbala Health Directorate in the Field of Training and Development

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa received a delegation from the Training and Development Center of the Karbala Health Directorate. The delegation was welcomed by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, and the Dean of the College of Nursing. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen academic and practical cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of health workforce training and the development of scientific and professional skills, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and health services in the province. This collaboration comes as part of the University’s strategic orientation toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through the advancement of training programs and applied education, and Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by preparing and empowering health professionals to deliver services that improve quality of life within the community. The two parties also agreed to develop a memorandum of understanding to organize joint workshops and training programs targeting academic and health personnel, aiming to integrate concepts of sustainability and professional development into university and applied education pathways. The delegation from the Karbala Health Directorate praised the University’s advanced academic standards and modern learning environment, emphasizing that this partnership marks a significant step toward building an effective collaboration between the academic and health sectors that contributes to sustainable development in the province of Karbala.

University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Welcomes Delegation from the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development

The President of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, received a delegation from the Iraqi Syndicate for Training and Development, headed by Mr. Mohammed Al-Moussawi, who expressed his appreciation to the University Presidency for its active participation in the Syndicate’s conference held under the patronage of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain. He also commended the speech delivered by the University on behalf of the Shrine's Committee during the conference. The delegation was accompanied by the Director of the Department of Labor and Social Affairs in Karbala, and the meeting focused on exploring prospects for joint cooperation through the launch of initiatives and training programs aimed at developing human capacities and enhancing youth skills, thereby contributing to serving the broader Karbala community. A delegation from the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, headed by the University’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nowfal Al-Araji, and accompanied by the Associate Deans of the Colleges of Administration and Economics and Law, visited Al-Alamein Institute for Postraduate Studies in the Holy City of Najaf. During the meeting, both parties discussed avenues for academic collaboration, including the organisation of conferences, workshops, and seminars; the implementation of joint research projects; visiting professor programs; and the participation in the discussion of master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, in preparation for the signing of a cooperation agreement in the near future.
