The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa received a delegation from the Training and Development Center of the Karbala Health Directorate. The delegation was welcomed by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Waqed Al-Moussawi, and the Dean of the College of Nursing.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen academic and practical cooperation between the two institutions in the areas of health workforce training and the development of scientific and professional skills, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and health services in the province.
This collaboration comes as part of the University’s strategic orientation toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, through the advancement of training programs and applied education, and Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by preparing and empowering health professionals to deliver services that improve quality of life within the community.
The two parties also agreed to develop a memorandum of understanding to organize joint workshops and training programs targeting academic and health personnel, aiming to integrate concepts of sustainability and professional development into university and applied education pathways.
The delegation from the Karbala Health Directorate praised the University’s advanced academic standards and modern learning environment, emphasizing that this partnership marks a significant step toward building an effective collaboration between the academic and health sectors that contributes to sustainable development in the province of Karbala.
